“Flocke” the therapy pooch
I just finished this custom dog after a real-life superhero on four paws. She’s a havapoo: so half poodle, half havanese, and was very fun and extremely fluffy to build! She has safety eyes, blunt teeth, is completely disinfectable and guaranteed not to cause any allergies (but certainly a smile or two).

Little grizzly bear
Another creature complete! This little guy has scraggly fur, an underbite and a wicked sense of humor. Shouting out to Josephine Hock for helping me with the photo.

Field Mouse
I just finished this field mouse with blinking eyes and a wiggly nose mechanism! He is off to his new home soon, but this was incredibly fun to build. Thanks to Stephan Siegfried for help with the pictures! The next critter is already on my workbench.

As Seen on Television
I was invited to Baden-Baden yesterday for a fun interview on the Show “Kaffee oder Tee” on German television station SWR2, you can find a link to it here: https://www.swrfernsehen.de/kaffee-oder-tee/wir-im-suedwesten/puppenspielerin-hendrika-de-kramer-100.html There was actually another little segment by the German television station SWR back in September: https://www.swrfernsehen.de/landesschau-rp/persoenlich/hendrika-de-kramer-ihr-leben-ist-ein-puppenspiel-100.html The world of television is a new one to…

Paco the Alpaca
This fuzzy guy I made for my private collection is rather expressive thanks to his moving ears, but watch out – he spits water! Many thanks to Julia Gerlach for her help with the pictures.

Country Mouse
This little rascal was a bit of commissioned work. He’s a mix between a rod puppet, a table puppet and a hand puppet. His nose wiggles and he’s ready for his next big adventure! Many thanks to Julia Gerlach for her help with the pictures.

Beetles and Bugs
I built a total of thirty insects and other critters for this fast and silly solo piece I played for the Theater Koblenz. My workshop was littered with legs for weeks! Photos by Arek Głębocki for Theater Koblenz.

Bunny Rabbit
This rabbit I made for my private collection is a table puppet with glass eyes. The flexible joints enable him to stand, walk, sit and jump with ease. He also likes to toss chocolate eggs from trees and pose under chandeliers. Anja Merfeld took these pictures for Theater Koblenz on a beautiful spring day.
